"Support Cake" for a Surprise 50th Birthday Party

This cake was made for the surprise birthday party of a woman who was turning 50. The joke was very well received by all! The bra is made from a mixture of gumpaste and chocolate fondant and accented with little molded pink chocolate buttons. The words and accents on the side of the cake are all made of hand molded chocolate. The next picture shows the sides of the cake so you can see the chocolates in better detail. This was a really fun cake!

A better view of all of the hand molded chocolates on the sides of the cake. There are wine bottles, wine glasses, gift boxes, a cork screw and a lot of "50" gold medalions. All of the words on top of the cake are also made of chocolate.

Contemporary Topsy Turvy Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was very large, it had a 16" base and each tier had 3 layers of cake to help achieve the "topsy turvy" look. There is buttercream under the fondant, all of the flowers are hand made from both gumpaste and fondant. This topsy turvy shape makes a very cute babyshower cake... obviously with different decorations.

Simply Sweet Wedding Cake

This wedding cake is very sweet, it is done with buttercream icing under the fondant, it has diamond grooves with little pink flowers on the sides of each tier. Black ribbon around the base of each tier with flowers all around and on top. The flowers are hand made from gumpaste.

Contemporary Staggered Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was done with staggered tiers, each cake in a different shape, covered in buttercream and fondant with fondant shapes all over and fondant bows on top. The fondant bows are really cute on birthday cakes too.

Paisley Shaped Wedding Cake

This wedding cake is paisley shaped with filigree work on the sides and hand made chocolate flowers.

Relief Society Birthday Cake

This cake was made for my church group, it was the anniversary of the birthday of the Relief Society. There are words written all around the cake that have signifigance to the group. There are hand made ladybug and flower chocolates on top and around the cake. This style of cake could be done for a small wedding or for a large anniversary party.
